I connected the radio and everything was good. The car started and the radio functioned correctly. I left the radio on while I socketed it into place and tightened the screws. Now when I try to start the car it just makes this rapid clicking sound and the warning indicators, as well as the radio light will blink. What could be the problem?

Update: When I loosen the negative wire, remove it, and place it back the car alarm will go off. After I tighten the negative wire back on to the battery, the alarm stops and I am able to start the car. However, I can only start the car once before I have to mess with the wire again.

Try resetting security system if no owners manual look online for your car on how to do it.
