I tried to start my car after I went shopping. I put the key in and turned it 3/4 of the way without turning it all the way. All the power turned on, I rolled down the windows, turned the radio on and then tried to start the car and it didn't turn over. It made a click sound but not a continuous one. Just one click but it wasn't loud or severe. I waited to see if it was the battery but after trying to jump it, the car would still not turn on. I don't know what else the problem would be.

Try tapping the starter lightly while trying to start the car see if it starts that way?You could jus have a a starter.
