Well, I did a diagnostic with the 2 pin and I have got several codes first I was a #7 then a 28 the #7 is I take it is the mass air flometer sent it in and had it repaired. From then on I have been getting all kinds of different code and I ca not clear all the codes without the same codes coming up. It was running great but then all of a sudden it stopped but I do have to say that my steering rack was bad and I had a very very bad vibration for about 4 months before I replaced the steering rack. Rack now is good, but was wondering if a bad vibration would cause anything to go wrong? I have been working on it now for 8 months.. Old man needs car, lol.

Hello,

When you turn the key to the on position without cranking the engine over can you hear the fuel pump run in the tank for 5 seconds? How does it sound when cranking over? Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can hear the engine cranking noise? that would be great. You can upload it here with your response. This guide will help us get started:

Well, I had a mechanic look into the fuel system and I have 50 pds of pressure and yes the fuel pump does work. I hot wired the cold start injector and it runs but after a couple of minutes it floods out and stops running.

When it stops running do you have spark? This guide will show you how to check it:

I have spark, I have fuel, I have air, but it seems the fuel injectors will not keep firing fuel to keep it running. Also the above articles is nothing like my engine in my car so I am lost.

Hi,

Have you checked the EFI fuse as well as the EFI relays and Circuit Open Relay? Here is a link that explains how to test a relay. Also, I attached a portion of the wiring schematic related to the injection system. If the injectors are working and then not, chances are it isn't the fuse, but a relay could cause the issue.

Let us know.

Well, I do understand, but I do see one relay on the fuse box not sure if it is EFI 1 or EFI 2. All it says is EFI fuse not relay. So I am so confused. And I do not know where the circuit opening relay is does not show anything in my book where all these relays and circuit are located.

Was driving, had it up to 5000 in first gear. All of a sudden the power starts going down and stalls. I started it again and drove it for about two miles and it shut off again. Have not been able to get it going since. Towed it home. Replaced spark plugs, checked fuses, replaced distributor cap. Help!

Hello,

Lets start by checking the engines compression. Here is a guide to help you get started, if you don't have a gauge you can rent one for free from the auto parts store.
