Caliper piston wont compress?

I have a 2005 chevy silverado 2wd 2500. Front rght caliper broke and was draging on ground, maybe 30 ft. Had it towed and replaced. I have tried bleeding the brakes a few ways. But it seems theres still air. The piston wont squeeze. Whats the solution fluid is good and back brakes are fine. Hopefully theres another to get air out besides the very known ways. If it happens to be the master cylinder is there a for sure way to see if its bad. I took it to a place also and they bleed it and couldnt get fronts to work, They saqid take it to this place that has a specialty machine that will get air out and make them worl. Is this true. I would like to do myself if possible thanks bp

I have changed the brake hoses and calipers this my third time and it keeps locking up on me. I have bled the line. Can you give me any suggestion on what I need to do next?

Check master cylinder pedal clearance, you should have about two to three mm free pedal travel, check this next.

the bottom bolt on the caliperis frozen
do I put the heat to the D thing
or is the head of the bolt holding it in place
or start drilling?

If you are referring to the caliper slide pin, then you should be able to put a 15mm wrench on the pin itself and your 12mm on the other bolt that holds it to the pin.

I replaced a caliper on a 1990 Chevy 1500 with the heavy duty chassis, and I need to know how tight to make the caliper bolts. Right now they are pretty snug, but not really tight.

My caliper bolts are what I believe are called star bolts. I have not been able to loosen them to remove caliper from the mounting frame. I have purchased the allen wrench type and a socket type star drivers but they do not seem to seat well enough to allow me to put enough force on the bolts to loosen them. The drivers slip out of the bolt, they do not seat as solidly as a allen type bolt I am used to on my other cars. Am I missing something here? Any suggestions?

Size is a Torx T-60, should seat OK tap it in or clean out any road grime with brakkleen. If you MUST, heat the mount where it screws in with a torch, they do have locktite on the threads. Be carful not to melt the rubber boots on the ball joints! You mayu need a new hardware kit if the rubbers burn on the slides!
