1996 Cadillac Seville Anti-Theft Problem and New Battery

Electrical problem
1996 Cadillac Seville V8 Automatic

Hi, I'm having an issue with my Cadillac. I've noticed that the coolant temperature gauge constantly stays at zero degrees while the car is running and driving. The digital thermometer is very incorrect and constantly changes temperature, for example it was 50 degrees today and it says 100 degrees and goes up and down a bit too constantly. When I drive, all of the lights for the shifter, both in the gauge cluster and on the console, are on at the same time and constantly blinking. Then all of a sudden the car would not stay running yesterday and the information center said there was an anti-theft problem. The battery ended up dying, I bought a new one and hooked it up, then turned the key to the "ON" position and waited 10 minutes. The car did start and is now running, but I'm wondering if any of the other stuff has anything to do with it. All the other issues started popping up recently.

Do you
have the same problem?
