Fog lights won't come on!

I have a 1999 Cadillac Escalade(80,000 miles, V8). I recently installed a new radio in my truck, and the fog lights were working fine. I had to remove a column which contained switches for my rear wiper, rear hatch, and my fog lights to remove the trim panel. Now it's been a week since I've installed the radio. Now today I tried to turn my fog lights on an they won't work. My rear wiper and hatch work fine. The fog light switch won't even light up! Please help, I'm in the Army(stationed in Germany), you have to pass a vehicle inspection to register your vehicle. And inop fog lights will DEFINATELY cause me to fail it.
