Just to get it straight, you mean crank as in turn over when the key is turned to start? Do you have lights, dash indicators, and such, and is there any clicking in the engine compartment. If it don't turn over, you need to check that there is voltage present on the battery cable at the starter, and that there is a signal on the smaller wire when in crank. If this is the case, you need a starter.
