Why does a 1994 chevrolet truck burn automatic transmission fluid? How does the automatic transmission fluid get to the engine sithout a vacuum modulator? It only happens when I push the gas down and accelerate.

Are you sure it'snot leaking outside or into the radiator. The only possible way would be it would leak into radiator and with a blown head gasket or intake gasket it could burn it. Or if the vent line was possibly hooked to a vacuum circuit.

You are correct, it is coming out of the vent and flowing down the exhaust giving the appearance that it is burning out the exhaust. What causes the fluid to come out of the vent. It is not over filled.

Either overfilled which you said is not or overheated or a pump or valve body problem.
