I have taken out the old fuel filter whick looks like it's never been replaced before. I cannot get the new fuel filter in becasue of the plastic piece on the male end. Is there a proper way to get the plastic piece inside of the fuel line and around the male side of the filter so it will " clip" in? I'm sure I'm not doing this right.
Thanks.
