Engine Mechanical problem
1993 Buick Lesabre 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Dear sir, I am unable to remove the spark plug wires from the rear bank of cylenders (V6). The rear spark covers have a metal casing over the rubber. The front ones needed some convincing also, but they did come off. Do I hack, slash and rip or is there some trick to this? Thanks.

Just yank them off. Just be careful and try yanking them off as straight as possible, I bought my lesabre with about 80K miles and I ripped my plug wires off with channel locks. I have done dozens of tune ups and never encountered what I have with my car. On 1 plug I took off the hex part that the spark plug socket grips. NOT fun having to kneel on engine for long time.

Good Luck!
