I have a buick century 1995 with over 150,000 miles. When I hit my brakes and the ABS light comes on my headlights, brake lights, taillights, door locks, overhead lights and rear defroster cut out. The wipers, radio, heater, and power windows still work. I live a good distance away from my mechanic and would like to know if there is a way to disconnect the ABS warning so that I can get to my mechanic without getting a ticket. The towing fee is just outrageous in my area.
