Inside the passenger side fuse block, there is a red 'reset' button. With the key in the on position, press and hold the button until the light on the dash goes out. The passenger side fuse block is gained through pulling the cover on the far passenger side of dash in the door opening area.

Six cylinder front wheel drive automatic 77,000 miles.

How do I reset the low tire light? I had a flat tire and the light gave me a warning. Now it needs to be reset and I tried the reset button on the fuse panel, but it did not take care of this.

Adjust all tire pressures to the recommended 30 psi.
Turn on the ignition, with the engine off.
Press and hold the red reset button located in the passenger side instrument panel fuse block.
The low tire indicator will flash three times, then turn off.

After resetting, the TPM system requires up to thirty minutes of straight line driving in each of the three speed ranges to complete the calibration process.

The light will go off by itself it is a real time system you have a tire pressure sensor that is not working by chance you change a tire out lately? This would be the tire I would suspect.

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers, Joe

I just did this a week ago and as you I do not have a manual. Okay on the passenger side of the driver open the door. Their is a fuse box on the side of the dash. Open that up and their is a red reset button. Now turn on your vehicle and press the reset button until the low tire indicator go off.

That should do it. I have not had a problem since then.

Mine stayed on, so I went to discount tires and the service attendant came and pulled the fuse panel off the right side of the dash and held the button in for a few seconds and the light went out. He showed me how to do it, that is why I know! I would check this first before replacing the wheel sensor.
Tire pressure should be the same in all tires before resetting the switch in the fuse panel.

I have a 2000 Buick Century Limited edition. The low tire pressure light came on. I had the tire pressure checked and they are fine. How do I reset the tire pressure light to get it to go off? Auto zone told me there was some kind of code or something that I had that had to be put into the car to get it to go out.

Thank you,
Bab Krivak

Pull the fuse panel located on the passenger side of the dash. There is a reset button that you hold in for a few seconds and the light will go out. Auto zone doesn't know what they are talking about! Mine came on and I took it to Discount tires and they did it for me, and showed me how to fix the problem. Make sure the air pressure is the same in alll tires first.
If this doesn't work, you have a bad wheel sensor
