Engine Cooling problem
1998 Buick Century 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 124563 miles

so my car loses coolant rapidly, yet there are no leaks. The engine overheats, it is ok when on the highway though. And the tempature gauge noticably moves towards red when the car is warmed up. There is no white smoke or steam from the tail pipe, no smoke from anywhere, and no leaks, I checked the oil and it was a brownish color and looked to have a little bit of white goo in it. Any answers?
