IDLER PULLEY BOLT REMOVAL

Engine Mechanical problem
1993 Buick Century 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 168000 miles

How do you get the idler pulley bolt out? Is it a left hand thread? It is very tight! I have already broken a socket and bent a breaker bar, yes they were cheap. Sorry, I can't afford to donate at this particular time, but please help if you can.

Are you attempting to replace tensioner? if so center bolt of pully not necessary to remove. There are two bolts that hold assembly to block. see figure
