You may need to scan and or replace a module, as they use many. See the 'site menu for details on a scan tool. OK It may be just a ground. Also. If anything does not work, a fuse may be causing this also.

I too vote Body computer. It's amazing how the engineers have made simple, reliable systems into ridiculously complicated nightmares by adding an unnecessary computer to everything. Chrysler had extremely little computer trouble in the 1990s, but they've learned how to make lots of money on replacement computers from GM.

This is why I still drive an '88 Caravan. Power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power seat, rear AC and heat, delayed wipers, ... And no computers!

The blower motor on my 2001 dodge grand caravan quit working and I tried replacing it but am having a heck of a time trying to get to the last bolt in the back (5th bolt)
Anyone with ideas on how to get to it because its cold outside and having to commute long distances without a heater is just brutal. Thanks

I do have a 1/4" drive but just cant get to it. I even tried reaching it through the top. I removed the speaker cover and the speaker but all my efforts have proved futile

The Front heater blower on my 05 Caravan quit
working the other day. After checking the fuse
and the relay at the IPM box I figured that the motor was shot. The rear blower works fine.
I replaced the blower motor and it will not operate.
What else do I need to do to solve this problem?

Place the switch at high
check at the blower motor wiring connector for power and for ground
if ground is missing remove, check and replace blower motor speed resister
if no power check fuses and switch relays again
check ignition switch
I would suspect resister

I have a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan, and the front AC blower does not work. The back blower works fine. What steps do I need to take to troubleshoot this problem?

Could be a resister, a switch, or the blower itself, that is if it has to seperate blowers, im not sure how the vans are set up, I would check the reisistor first though.

The 2 medium setings on blower for air conditioning or heater does not work. The low and high settings do work. Is just a fuse?

I was wondering how to go about replacing the front blower motor. What all has to come apart?I can see the motor bolts in from underneath, but I am unsure about the cover underneath.
I am a ford senior master certified technician, but I do not work on dodge vehicles very often, and I dont want to do more work than necessary.
Thank you for your time, dan
