BATTERY KEEPS DRAINING WHILE PARKED

Car has been in garage all winter. I noticed the new battery had run down after just a month. Had it charged, but was dead again within three weeks. Will not take a charge. Dashboard lights come on, but car will not start. Before it was parked for the winter, while driving the CHK ENG amber light came on with the message FUEL 14. How can I get it to restart? In case this might be related -- also know that although the heater fan comes on, no heat comes into the cabin.

Start with getting the battery load tested, it may have a dead cell, if faulty fit a new battery and report back you findings with the other concerns.
