Brakes problem
2001 Audi A6 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 118000 miles

My car is the 2.7t quattro. We recently installed new axles, tie rod ends, brake pads and rotors. Now when I start the car and drive for the the first 5 or 10 minutes, every time I stop the ABS and Traction control kick on during the last 5 feet or so of braking.

Somewhere about 5 or 10 minutes into a new start, the ABS light and traction control light come on and stay on. I don't get the 'grinding' abs sounds when I brake, and the abs seems to still be working normally, but those dang lights won't go off. As soon as I turn off and restart the car, the same scenario plays out again.

Did we mess up some sort of sensor when we installed the axles possibly?
