Electrical problem
2000 Audi A6 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 60000 miles

The computer screen in the dashoiard is now blank rather than show temparature, radion station or other informaiton from the trip computer.

Previously infromation did show but there were blank lines (missing pixels?) Which made the informaiton difficult to read.

Is this an electrical problem, a faulty part, sensor issues or something else.

Repairs suggesitons to date suggest that removing the dashboard and replacing the part to be the only chocie.

Are there aother alternatives?

Next to the boton where you press to put water on your windshield there a boton that when pressed it makes the daskboard go blank you can turn it on or off. It's on the manual.
