Alternator replacement 105 amp or 100 amp?

This van has two alternator choices. Can I put 105 amp on to replace the100 amp without any problems?

Yes, if they make a higher amperage Alternator for your vehicle. Many people do this when they have a sound system that requires extra current flow, or some other system that needs higher power/wattage. The engine computer will only command on the Alternator when it needs extra power. Most Alternators now are Pulse Width Modulated controlled to keep the battery at a certain level, this is done by the Engine Computer (ECM). 5 more Amps is really not much anyway.
