Folks, here is what I have. I got a 1994 Chevy K-1500 5.7 liter. The customer brought this turd in complaining that it does not have any power. So stupid me I took the job thinking it would be easy. First problem, it would not start. Removed the starter to have it bench tested. The front cone was cracked. Installed a new starter. Tried to start the vehicle, found the timing was off a few teeth. Reset that. Install a new ing. Module because the old one was full of corrision. Now I set the timing at 0 degrees like the factory suggest. I plug in the ing. Bypass wire and the vehicle will not start what so ever. Disconnect it, it will start right up. Checked for codes, none found. Tried a used PCM with no change. Anyone have any suggestions. I am kind of lost at this point.
have the same problem?
