I've been using a fairly new Isuzu NPR HD 2012 for 100 mile deliveries. Weeks ago after a 140 mile trip, vehicle indicated check engine, regen and exhaust system lights on the dash. Vehicle limped to our station at 40 mph and then at 5mph for about 5 miles. Mechanics state that diesel was found in the DEF system and therefore, driver must have somehow put diesel in the DEF receptacle. How do the mechanics of vehicle's leasing company arrive at this conclusion which is ridiculous at best?
