When I was driving home tonight I noticed that my car was making a ticking sound. I noticed it doesn't start until 25mph and only increases slightly as my speed increased. I did roll my window down and it seemed louder from inside than what I could hear with the window down. No warning lights are on and the temp is normal. I don't know if this is related but about 15 minutes before I got home, I heard a sound like a rock had hit my car.I looked in the rear-veiw mirror and didn't see anything. Only mentioning because of the sound. Any ideas?

I would be checking for a nail in the tyre, it can make this type of sound as it rotates and hits the road, eliminate this first.
