I've got a 2009 Mazda5 that has a vibration between 50 and 65 mph. I've tried the usual stuff, rotated tires, put my winter tires on had them balanced, aligned and I've still got the vibration and a bit of a thumping noise. I bought the car as a stolen recovered vehicle, the control arms were replaced before I got it, but everything is tight and it is definately aligned ok. Is there any possibility of the cv shaft (s) becoming bent? Or is there something I'm missing here? The car only has 15000 miles on it, has vibrated since I got it at 6800 miles. I should mention the vehicle was not damaged other than the control arms being replaced, guessing someone hit a curb or something like that.
