2009 HONDA CIVIC WATER LEAKING BEHIND GLOVE BOX?!

Hello,

My civic just started leaking water from behind the glove box when the AC is on and when controls are set to cool feet and cool feet/upper body. So basically when the AC is running with the controls set to either feet position the water leaks out and sloshes while turning. The water does not leak if the control is set to upper body only.

Any ideas on what is causing that?

Thanks!

Toki

If you are getting AC water in the vehicle, the drain is plugged which allows the water to flow out of the vehicle. I believe your drain is on the passenger side of the firewall about 2/3rds of the way down. Move it around to see if the water starts to release. Road dirt and grease get plugged in there sometimes.

I had the hose checked and it was not clogged.

Any other things that can be checked or any other reasons?

I don't know why, but this just showed up in my mail. Sorry it has been so long. Have you had any luck with the issue?
