My daughter has a Mazda 3 sport Hatchback

Hi, My daughter has a Mazda 3 sport hatchback. The motor was recently replaced under extended warranty with a junkyard motor that we were told had 30,000 miles on it.
That was a few months ago. Now, her AC is out. She took it to a Mazda dealer and they told her that the compressor was ok, but the harness to it was faulty and to fix it was very expensive due to the labor charge.

My question is whether it would be possible to by pass the harness and connect a wire directly to the compressor and if possible to the AC switch?

We live in south Florida, and very shortly it is going to get very hot.

She simply does not have the money to do it the "right" way.

To me it sounds like a "short" in the electrical harness, but since they do not know where, they have to take it all apart to figure it out.

Take it to another shop that specializes in electrical repair.

No bypassing or jumping as it will cause too many other issues
