KIA CARENS 2.0DIESEL SMOKE ISSUE

I had black smoke from exhust and noticed I missed service. Sue to money issues I had enought to buy the service kit and now the engine light is on and white smoke coming out the exhust, should I take it for a long run to try clar this? I have replaced the oil filter enegine flush, new oil, diesel filter and air filter.

Check codes with a scanner, are you using coolant? White smoke is a sign of burning coolant in the combustion chamber.
