Car broke down when stopped at traffic light. Had to rev a lot to get it to start on 4th try. Sounding strained at higher speeds. Told that could be harness. Is this likely? What does the harness have to do with whether or not the car starts and can the harness alone be changed if this is the problem? Service car every 5000km and it has been fine until now. Starting still but with repeated efforts. Engine tumbling, no problem, but it is not always tumbling enough to start car. Engine light has been on since it first broke down.
Please not that mileage above is in km, not miles.
