This car had a bad miss in #4 cyl. Found it to be a broken valve spring. I managed to change it without takeing off the head. When I started the engine it ran great. Good compression, no miss. I shut the car off and restarted it. It was hard to start and the check engine light came on. Code for coolant sensor.I let the car run long enough to warm up.I checked the lower rad hose, it was cold. I changed the stat and still have the same problem. Repair manual shows coolant sensor behind the alternator. When I changed the thermostat which is also behind the alternater I looked for the coolant sensor. It"s not behind the alternater. Someone else tryed to fix this car befor me for the miss and could"nt find the problem. They started to take it apart then gave up. Could be they dissconected the sensor I don"t know. But for now, I can"t find it. Can you help?
