About a week ago my water pump blew on me. The engine never over heated but just died on my way home. Took a look under the hood saw that the belt had came off. Had the car towed so I would not do any damage to my engine. I disconnected the battery so that I could replace my water pump. Had the battery disconnected for a week just got the water pump replaced and tried to start it but it wont fire. It will turn over like it wants to start but acts like it is not getting any gas. What could be the problem and how can I fix it.

Can you hear the fuel pump cycle when you turn on the ignition? Are you able to test fuel pressure.
