Had the transmission flushed, drove abotu 25 miles when the speedometer starting jumping erratically. Check engine light came on so I shut it down and noticed I had transmission fluid leaving and smoking. Called the shop, they towed it in. It was 1 1/2 quarts too full but they coudl not figure out where the leakage had occurred. Dipstick and flush port areas were dry. After draining fluid to get it to the right level, the tranmission is fine but the speedometer has quit working completely. They say this is a seperate problem, not caused by the transmission fluid leaking or anything they did. What do you think? I find it a very strange coincidence that these two problems happened at the exact same time.
