What does it mean when the abs and slippery little car on road lights up?does it mean at all that you need brakes soon or something else?

It means that the computer for ABS and Traction Control has sensed a malfunction and disabled both systems, then stored a trouble code to identify what it saw. You need to have the ABS module scanned for codes to get a starting point.
