I have a 2006 Saturn Vue 3.0 eng. I had the key cylinder replace, then a month later it wil not turn at all. The locksmith return to fix it be said the cylinder is fin and to replace the electrical switch on the back of the key cylinder housing. The key will not turn at all. What do I do next?
If the cylinder will not turn at all that would be odd to tell you to replace the electrical switch I have never saw one freeze up an cause the cylinder to not turn. When the cylinder was replaced did you keep the same key that you had before to work on the ignition or do you have a different one now?If it still uses the same key was a new key made from the vin number not the old worn out key copied?
