I have seen a lot of incomplete and conflicting answers to this question on the internet and would like to have this simple question answered. For a 2006 Sonata, built for the US market, with a 3.3l, 6 cyl. Engine, is bank 1 nearest the firewall and bank 2 nearest the radiator?
Likewise, is cylinder 1 on the passenger side (and nearest the firewall) of this vehicle?
I saw where bank 1 of any v-type engine is always the side that has cylinder 1; and bank 2 is always the side of the engine that has cylinder 2 - true?
