my f150 06 is missing when lugging down

This is a "coil on plug" system and the coils sometimes get weak. Have the computer scanned for codes and misfire data and you can find out which cylinder is causing it. I would change the coil for that cylinder and if over 60K, I would replace all the plugs also.
