I bought a new battery during the summer and have never had a problem with starting my truck before.
I jumped a friends vehicle the other day, and now my battery is dying overnight, and not able to start my truck. In addition, the weather has gotten much colder the last several days.
I am not inclined to believe my inabilty to start is my battery, because it is still relatively new, and I've never had problems with it before.
I don't believe it is the alt. Or starter because the truck jumped to life just fine and stayed running, and was able to start itself even after just a short drive, after getting an easy jump.
What is the most likely short I could've caused when I jumped my friends vehicle, and how do I diagnose and repair?
The truck is a well maintained 06 V8 Dakota.
Thanks for the help.
have the same problem?
