Hey GMILL21.

You will need a universal 13mm socket to get to the bolts becasue it is in the lower radiator housing on the block.

Partially drain the cooling system.

Remove the water outlet housing bolts
Remove the water outlet housing and O-ring seal
Remove the thermostat
Clean and inspect the water outlet housing O-ring seal mating surfaces.

Here is a good guide on what you will be in for when replacing a thermostat.

Please let us know happens so it will help others.

So my car blows cold air when it's in idle mode. But after maybe 5 minutes of driving the temperature goes up and heats like it's suppose to. Someone told me to change the thermostat so that's exactly what I need to do. Help please.
