I have an inexpensive actron scanner and the following codes were read P 0171 and P0300. So I took the MAF sensor out and cleaned it with MAF sensor cleaner let dry and put back in. The next morning another code P0300 again. What is the root cause? O2 sensor? I have the SS 5.3 L

Check it carefully for vacuum leaks or air leaks in the intake snorkel.

I have examined all hoses for leaks. Anything else to look for?

That's not how you find vacuum leaks. You need to either smoke test it or use some carb cleaner to test for potential leaks.
