I am having A problem on my vehicle which I think has electric shocks for the front and air shocks with a compressor for the back. I have a cheap scan reader and it indicates "C0590" is my codes it says "Suspension damper solenoid circuit low". It indicates "right rear solenoid/motor/actuator circuit malfunction".

I replaced the rear shocks about two years ago with shocks from Arnott. Later the pump started running a long time when it was below zero out, so I did not work on it. Then as you can guess the pump stopped working all together. I replaced it last November and it was working for about a month, then it ran a few times for like a minute or two and then it stopped and this code started showing up.

My question is three fold, is this code indicating that one of the Arnott shocks (right fear) has gone bad? Does the fact that the compressor is not working mean that it has burnt out and gone bad? Or is there some protection that if the system sees a code it stops the compressor from burning itself up?

The front shock have never been replaced, at 150,000 miles I assume it would be prudent to replace them.

Could you give me your thought on these questions

Hello,

It sounds like the shocks went bad I would get AC Delco units from Amazon to fix the rpoblem.

The new key will turn to the start position but the engine does not turn over. The car was locked and I don't know how they got into the car but the new key does unlock the car also. The car does beep when he tries to start it. Is there anything he can do to make the car recognize the new key?

So you dont have a already programed key?If you had one you could use it to program the new key. If not contact the chevy dealer.

Every since I had transmission repair my car has had a problem starting I went the dealership and they state that it needs an internal mode switch and a wiring harnesses. Which will be about 11 hours of labor to do at about 1700.00

I have already spent over 4,000 on transmission repair and still dont have a car to work correctly what can I do?

I would go back to the person that did the transmission work first, if the problem was only after their work it may be worth asking them first, if they can't or will not help I would go get a second opinion on the starting problem before making any decision, best to get all the facts first.

Our car will not start via the remote start. Then the service engine light is on. While driving it will say disabling throttle control. It then dies. If you wait about a minute it will restart. When the enging is cold it will only die a few times in about 25 miles. When the car is warm, it will dies about 11 times in the same period. None of the local mechanics will look at it saying it may have to do with the Auto theft system. What could possilby be wrong with it. It sounds fine when it is running. I doesn't hesitate or anything.

The remote start will be diabled when ever there is a check engine light is on. Have the vehicle scanned for the check engine light and post back with the code and will advise from there.

Electrical problem
2006 Chevy Impala 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 2005 chevy impa;a with a factory remote start. Several weeks ago it would function occasionally but lately it does not function at all. The park lights blink when the button is pushed but does not start.I have changed the battery in the key fob and had the car battery checked, any suggestions?

I think there was a recall and they were replacing the remote start module. Call your local dealer and see what they say about it
