Cranks but no start

Engine has no codes present. Does have spark to cylinders. No fuel pressure. When key is on should you hear the pump run until pressure is built, or would it be constant. What is the operating voltage at pump

The pump should run for a 2 second prime when the key is first turned on and then resume when it senses engine cranking.

Digital dash stuck in D when I turn the key it shows its in D shifts fine back and fourth just shows it's in D cant get it in park to start.

Your transmission internal mode switch is probably bad see pic have a trans guy do it

2006 Cadillac DTS Automatic

Am trying to find out how to store this car for a 6 month period. Are there any mechanical reasons why this car would not start if left unused for a couple of weeks, let alone for 6 months? Car had to be towed to a dealer, after a 2 week period of not being started, so we need to know just how to care for this vehicle- since the driver is not allowed to drive for half a year.

Hello,

First what did the dealer find wrong?

Possibly just a dead battery.

If it was just a dead battery then just disconnect the battery, purchase a small 2amp battery charger to hook to the battery to keep battery charged.
Or twice a week start it and let run for about 15 minutes. Which if able is what I would do.

2006 CADILLAC DST will not start massage engine power reduced when I turn the key it looks like the anti thelt light say it is locked

Have you tried another key? Try disconnecting and shorting both battery cables together, reconnect them to the battery, and see if it starts.

I have a 2006 DTS it will not start I get a message that the engine power is reduced and when I turn the key it looks like the aniti theft light says it is locked

Was there anything that led up to this? I would start with disconnecting the battery cables and shorting them together for a minute or so. Reconnect them and see if it starts.
