I am having these problems; the car will start but the engine temperature gauge and gas gauge do not work. Also when you try to turn the key off it will not release it. The theft deterrent light will not turn off.

My anti theft system came on when I was driving and the everything on the dash stop working and my traction control light came on then they came back on and but the traction control light stayed on. The gas gauge did not work and the keys are stuck in the ignition. How can I solve this problem?

Have the car scanned for codes in all systems. Let us know what the codes are.

The remote for the car is not registering on a regular bases; it sometimes works and it fails. The security system comes on when driving if I turn the car off the key will not release from ignition. What could be the problem? A sensor maybe? If so what would be the cost?

GM remotes are notorious for have problems. Open the remote case with a coin and inspect for any loose pieces especially the battery connections. If the battery terminals are loose even slightly they can often times be repaired. Replacement may be the better option (reprogramming will be required if replacing remote). Try this and get back to me. TY
