How do I sync the cams with each other?

The timing belt jumped and it bent valves, I removed the head and had a machine shop replace the valves and set the cams in time with each other then replaced the head and timing belt. I have a vibration and check engine light, the DTC is P0016 cam and crank out of sync. I have checked and double checked the timing marks on the belt and the are dead on. I believe that the machine shop did not set the cams properly so I need to know how to set the cams. Thanks.

Try this : Put the engine no.1 piston on its compression stroke/TDC and align the camshafts and crankshaft to its markings as indicated in the repair manual
