I had my transfer case rebuilt about 50,000 miles ago. Recently, I was driving in 2H, on the highway (approx. 50mph) though snow and slush. When I came off the highway, I switched to AUTO, only to realize that I was still in 2H. The transfer case lights just blinked when I attempted to change range. When I arrived at my destination, I tried shutting the truck down and restarting but it did no good. Now the transfer light is showing a red LED next to the N but the transfer is still in 2H. I cannot get it to change to any other setting. I have checked the wire harness connections at the transfer case which seem to be good. I've been told it could be the transfer case shift servo. Truck is a 2005 GMC Sierra with the electronic (push botton) transfer case.
