Just had transmission rebuilt. Drives, but the overdrive does not work. What do I do?

GOING IN AS MR. BAD BUTT, SCREAMING AND THREATS. USUALLY GETS YOU NO WHERE WITH THE MECHANIC, I'VE SEEN FIGHTS BREAK OUT---EVEN NO TRESPASS NOTICES SERVED!
BE DIPLOMATIC, THAT WILL GO A LONG WAY IN GETTING REPAIRED CORRECTLY AND PROMPTLY
