Should the belt coming around the alternator be easily compressed to the point that the input side and output side touch and tensioner moves r/t v8 5.7 liter hemi

Attached image (I hope) showing event. Belt segments between 1 & 7 and 7 & 6 easily displaced with two fingers until touching. Tensioner moves as a result. Is this an indication of a weak tensioner?

It cold be a weak tensioner, but check the belt first it may be stretched. Check the tensioner for a worn bearing on pulley as well.
