I'M LOOKING FOR A REPLACEMENT MODULE. I WANTED TO KNOW IF JUST THE MODULE COULD BE PURCHASED (INTIER PART# 25001736)? WHAT RANGE OF VEHICLES/YEAR WOULD THIS MODULE FALL UNDER, SO THAT I COULD BROADEN MY SEARCH. AND WHERE WOULD BE THE BEST PLACE TO PURCHASE. AND HOW DO YOU REPLACE IT?

Fettfamily did you ever find an answer to this problem? I am looking for this same part for a 2006 Tahoe. Thanks.

TMOTION, no I rigged it (I glued a pc of plastic on the inside of the button) so that when I push the rear window button from the outside it made contact with the release to pop the window. Then I reach in and pull up on the lever to release door. The alarm still functions so if I don't disarm, it sounds the alarm once you open it. If the tahoe was here now I'd take a picture to show you.

Not the best fix, but we rarely use the back so it works for now.

I did find a used part for $75 at a recycling auto parts place, but they were all different from the one I had in my SUV. Later I found out that I could of used that one as well.

In fact you can use just about any rear gm suv between 2000-2006 p/n 15808595. The cheapest new one was $169.57 + s/h, dealership wanted $286.04 this was 6 months.

Like I said my fix has worked for now. Good luck hope this helps.

I am in need of the same part. I took the actuator apart and found the electric motor is bad. On the motor was a number. FC-280SC-xxxxx

I could not read the last digits after the SC-

Can any one read the numbers on the small motor inside the actuator?

I think we could get a replacement motor if we could spec the rest of the motor numbers.

Thanks.
