The blower was coming on at different speeds and sometimes not at all, now it does not come on at all. I have 12volts at the plug going into the resistor and the voltage from hot to center wire will go up and down as fan controller is adjusted. I checked plug at blower motor and it has 8.5 volts but fan doesn't run. I jumped the fan from battery and it runs. If I spin the fan by hand seems a little tight but not sure what it should be like. What could the problem be.

Are you checking the ground with the meter set to low ohm scale 200 ohms?Because I see 494 on the meter. On the 200 ohms scale on the meter when check it to ground a good ground reading would be 2 ohms or less.

Hold on were not changing anything yet. Do you have auto climate control where you can dial in the temp? Or do you have the manual type?

Sorry I didn't get a email alert that you replied to me till just a few mins ago. Look at the wire diagram I posted. You see the blower motor control processor with the key in the run position the red wire should have battery voltage and the black wire should have 2 ohms or less to ground with the meter on 200 ohms scale. Thats at the processors connector?

I see the wires to are talking about in your diagram. I don't see it in my truck? Is this a different plug than the one that plugs into the module?
