I replaced my brakes on my 2005 Chevy Blazer about 3 months ago (new rotors and pads). After 3 months, and about 3000 miles, my brakes still smell like they are being broken in. I want to change to a different manufacturer of pad, but my rotors surface is still in great shape. How should I clean my rotors so the old pad material doesn’t effect the new pads?
