When I go to the gas pump to put fuel, when I turn the vehicle off, I have to crank at least 3 to 5 times before the car starts. I took the vehicle to a reputable repair store, they thoroughly check fuel lines, fuel pump and the tank for any leaks. The technician advised me that the gas cap that is on the gas tank is the incorrect one and air in getting in the tank because it is not sealed properly. He advised to purchase an original CTS gas tank cap from the dealer.
What is your expert advise on this.
