I have a noise in the rear of my 2005 acura MDX. It is a pulsing whine between 55 and 75 that goes away when you take your foot from the accelerator or at speeds outside of this range. Had the noise when we bought it and they ultimately replaced the right rear axle shaft and it seemed to go away. They said too much run out in joints. It is back and the axle has only 10,000 miles. During the testing they removed the drive shaft and the noise was eliminated. They also replaced the rear differential before finding the axle as the "culpret". Any help before I take it back again?

Symptoms indicates a drive train problem and you should get back to the guy who performed the job and let them have a look at it.
