I have a 2004 Grand Am SE 4 cylinder. Whenever I use my turn signals or sometimes just randomly, the blinker just starts up and does not stop until the car is shut off. I just want to slam my fist on the dash to get it to stop. I had the grease cleaned off of the connections on the directional piece on the steering column and it still continues. Have you ever heard of this and any idea what this could be?

thanks

Try cleaning battery terminal ends especially the ground terminal and check ground near fuse box lh side of dash. If it continues have a pro look at it.
